Gerard Baars

Gerard Baars is directeur van het Nationaal Regieorgaan Onderwijsonderzoek. Zijn voornaamste expertisegebieden zijn onderzoek naar studiesucces in het hoger onderwijs, het didactisch gebruik van ICT in het hoger onderwijs en onderzoek naar de factoren die gerelateerd zijn aan het studiesucces van studenten in het hoger onderwijs.

Gerard Baars is director of the Netherlands Initiative for Education Research (Nationaal Regieorgaan Onderwijsonderzoek). His main fields of expertise are the professional development of teachers in higher education, the didactical use of ict in higher education, and research into factors that are related to student success in higher education.
