Jacqui Saradjian

Jacqui is the Clinical Director of a therapeutic service treating men with severe personality pathology within a high secure prison where the aim is to reduce the risk these men pose by treating the trauma underpinning both personality pathology and offending.

She initially trained as a teacher and taught in comprehensive schools, remand and assessment centres and open and secure services for offending adolescents.  Her interest in this area led her to retrain and she now practices as a Consultant Clinical and Forensic Psychologist.  For the past 20 years she has worked in community, low secure, medium secure and high secure settings within the NHS.  She has held senior positions in mental health services in both NHS and in Private Sector Services.  Her areas of specialist clinical expertise include working as a with victims and perpetrators of sexual offending by both men and women, working with the psychological sequelae of trauma and working with people with a diagnosis of personality disorder.

She has considerable experience in multiagency working and has completed various pieces of work for the police and probation services as well as social services and independent agencies.  Her work has including independent investigations and serious incident reviews.  She has also worked as an expert witness in many psycho-legal cases.  Jacqui has published widely and has spoken at numerous conferences both nationally and internationally.
