Pieter Vermaas

Pieter Vermaas is associate professor with the Philosophy Department of Delft University of Technology. His current research focuses on the articulation and validation of design methods and design thinking. He co-authored a volume on Philosophy and Design (2008), a monograph on Technical Functions (2010) and the textbook A Philosophy of Technology (2011). Vermaas edits the Philosophy of Engineering and Technology book series.
